Homestead Pinotage by Bellingham has an intense dark red with a ruby ​​red edge. On the nose sweet spices, plums and mulberries with hints of vanilla. Hints of ripe and juicy raspberry, strawberry and black cherry as well as spices well integrated on the palate with an elegant tannic structure.

Pair with: Ideal with roast lamb with rosemary and elderberries, venison, ribs with barbecue sauce, ossobuco. Serving temperature: 15° - 18° C

Wine of Origin South Africa.

The mountainous terrain and diversity of terroirs are key factors that make this a world-class viticultural area with granite soil.
The vineyards are located at altitudes above 200m and thus exposed to the cool summer breezes of False Bay.

The grapes were harvested by hand at the end of February. After a short fermentation on the skins, punching takes place which releases the depth of color and flavor before malolactic fermentation.
